Sunday Snapshots

Today we headed to Sunday School, Church and then Pizza Inn for lunch.  Then I grabbed a couple of pics of the boys before they changed out of their church clothes...

Check out our roses in the front flower bed.  Gorgeous!!

Later we hung out in the back yard with the family...

Abram learned to do a front flip on the trampoline!!  He said "I will never forget this day!" He was so proud of himself!

We also celebrated Aunt Christin's Birthday!

Then we did some pasture knee boarding!  Always good times!

Even Honeywana got in on the fun!

Abram's Kindergarten Program - Disney Dazzle

April 7, 2011
Tonight was special because we got the pleasure of watching 250 kindergarteners sing & dance in the ECC Kindergarten Program. Of course, my talented son, Abram, was the shining star of the the show! ;) Actually all of the kids were just precious and did fantastic!  The theme was Disney Dazzle so many disney favorites were highlighted. Abram's class was dressed in tropical/beach clothes for Under the Sea from The Little Mermaid. The other classes were dressed as pirates for Pirates of the Caribbean, princes and princesses for Aladdin and safari explorers for Jungle Book. It was all SuPeR CuTe!!

"Let's Ruin Their Relationship!"

March 13, 2011
A couple of weeks ago my Mom and Dad, who also happen to be our next door neighbors, were having a romantic dinner outside in the cabana.  Abram had gone outside for something and saw them.  He ran in and said "Honeywana & Pops are outside eating dinner!"  I told him that they were having a romantic dinner date and that we should leave them alone.  He says to me, "No, I've got a great idea!  Let's spy on them and make their relationship BAD!!"  It was so funny I couldn't resist!  So I ran in and got my camera, of course!
Here's a pic of the romance - fire in fireplace, white table cloth, candles...  So sweet!  I'm glad my parents are still so in love and make time for romance with each other. :)
Abram running across the yard to go hide behind Mom & Dad's shed.
Here he is coming around the other side...
and running around the back of the "village" or cabana.
Hiding in the trees.  Of course, my parents have already caught on at this point but played along like they had no clue. ;)  Abram would stop and look at me and laugh as quietly as possible with his hand over his mouth and then say "We're gonna ruin their romance!"
Here Asher joins in on the fun.  He was asleep when we started spying.
Here he is running across the yard.
Now they are kneeling down behind the bar at the cabana.
Asher thinking he is so sneaky and funny!
 SURPRISE!!!
Good Sports!
That was FUN!!!

Spring Break Vacation 2011

Saturday, March 5, 2011
After much debate on where to go for our Spring Break get-a-way we ended up having a sort of staycation... We camped at Tyler State Park and took the boys to do all kinds of fun things in Tyler! It was a BLAST! We had the best family time over the last few days and really enjoyed not having to drive too far. We started Saturday and spent most the day in Tyler...

Lunch at Carino's
YuMmY DeSSeRT!!!
Bowling!!!
This was the boy's first time to go bowling and they LOVED it!
Abram was really good!  He beat us ALL!!  He scored a 123!
Asher was pretty good, too!  He scored a 67!

Next Putt Putt Golf...
The boys were WILD!  They were everywhere!  Rules? What Rules?! Ha!  But they had an AwEsOmE time so that's all that mattered!

Killing some time at Best Buy before our movie. :)

Then we went to see Gnomeo & Juliet.
It was a great movie and the whole day was fantastic!

Sunday, March 6, 2011
Today we spent time enjoying Tyler State Park and relaxing at our campsite.  Here's a look at all the FuN things we did today.

Riding Bikes...
Eating around the campfire...
Feeding the ducks...
Hiking...
Playing at the playground...
Look at my little monkey boy!  He is so good at the monkey bars and very determined!  He just kept trying until he did it perfect every time!
Paddle boating...
Asher couldn't handle the FuN any longer!  He was out within minutes and missed most of the boat ride. Ha!
Me and My Honey in our matching shirts!  LoL!
And Abram being silly and sneaky!
Abram wanted to try peddling.  His legs weren't long enough so I had to sit him in my lap and push him forward.  It would have been easier for me to just peddle myself!  Ha Ha!  But he did GREAT!

Honeywana & Pops, Cameron, Christina, Cason & Conleigh came out for dinner tonight. We grilled burgers, sat around the campfire, ate s'mores and watched the camp locals.
Rico taking the kids on a coon hunt.
Honeywana coming in with some bait.
I think they found something...
Abram, Get Out Here!!!
Look who came to visit!  One of MANY!!  The raccoons are HEALTHY at TSP!! LOL! The kids loved watching them come right up to our campsite! Conleigh was hilarious! She kept saying "Come here, Kitty Cat."  She wasn't scared at all but is deathly afraid of bugs and pretty much everything else.
Family time around a campfire - Nothing better! :)

Monday, March 7, 2011
This morning we headed to IHOP for breakfast and Man, can these boys EAT!!!  Next time we're gonna have to order more food!  They love breakfast!  We always eat at IHOP on vacation so we had to keep tradition on our "staycation" too! ;)  After that we headed to "the hand place" otherwise known as The  Discovery Science Place.

Little Anchors
Abram was cooking and taking my order then he says "Ok, Ma'am.  That'll be up in a gypsy!"  So funny!
Abram is a rock climbing MaCHiNe!!!
And such a helpful BiG Bro!  Good Job, Asher!!
Abram, Mommy & Asher ~ incognito!
The BoYs playing dress-up.  Asher is a cowboy and Abram thinks he's a hip hop/rock n'roll guy.  He was break dancing and rapping.
It was so cute!
Posers!!!
And then they switched!  Abram sang the whole Big Green Tractor song for us and Asher did the break dancing thang!  They are too FuNNy!!!
Firefighters!  Of course!!
Our AwEsOmE campfire
It was GREAT because it was COLD!
Movie Time!!!

More time at camp eating, biking, playing at the playground...  Such great family memories!  We are really building so many wonderful memories and traditions with our boys!  There is nothing better than these moments we are creating with our family.
The only way to camp!!! ;)
